A leap of faith is essentially any decision that requires you to go beyond your comfort zone and trust in the unknown.

We have big news! BIG! In case you missed it, Sunshine is moving to Historic Downtown Mansfield. Our lease is ending this summer, and we need more space. If you have been on the wait list recently, you will appreciate this change. Our new location will be the Morgage building at 125 and 127 North Main Street. The new space is only four minutes up Cooper from our current space.

So We Leap!

Of course, taking a leap of faith is often accompanied by fear. This is completely normal and to be expected. Fear is a natural response to the unknown, which keeps us safe in many situations. However, fear can also hold us back from our true potential. The trick is to acknowledge your fear but not let it control your decision-making process. Fear and excitement are very similar sensations in the body. By allowing yourself to feel the fear, and then taking action anyways, you’ll develop the resiliency and confidence needed to continue growing.

Taking a leap of faith can be one of the most transformative experiences of your life. By embracing risk and uncertainty, you open up a world of possibilities for yourself that you may not have even known existed. Yes, it’s scary. Yes, it involves facing your fears head-on. But the rewards are worth it. So go out there and take a chance on yourself. You might be amazed at what you’re capable of!

How About You?

Is there something you wish to try or explore? Taking a leap of faith can seem overwhelming at first, but there are a few things you can do to prepare yourself. First, define what success means to you and what you want to achieve. Next, surround yourself with positive people who will support your journey. Lastly, take baby steps and start small. You don’t have to quit your job or move across the country. Take small risks, and when you’re comfortable, take bigger ones.

Taking a leap of faith is scary, but it’s a crucial step in achieving personal and professional growth. It’s about leaving your comfort zone, trusting yourself and the universe, and being open to new opportunities. It’s not reserved for a select few but rather for anyone who wants to make positive changes in their lives. By defining your goals, staying positive, and taking small steps, you can take a leap of faith and make your dreams a reality!

Studio News

Here is a little more information about the new studio. We will double our studio space and bring you closer to all the amazing businesses in Historic Downtown Mansfield. We will have enough room for 30 yogis with social distance. This is great news for all our members and anyone wishing to join our community.

Our Studio is growing. Jennifer has agreed to be the Assistant Manager of Sunshine School of Yoga, and Mallory has agreed to be the Assistant Manager of Studio Operations. If you need assistance, please contact any of us for help.

While Mallory has added responsibility at our studio, she started a new jig this week at the Dallas Anatole Hotel doing Sound Bath Meditations.

If you are headed to Galveston this summer, check in with our Angela Guthrie at Seek Peace Yoga. She will also offer yoga classes for the San Luis Resort and Spa.

Aerial News!!! Katelyn Barr won her second GOLD MEDAL at the Aerial Olympics this past Sunday, and we are so proud of her and all her achievements. Congratulations!!

Earth Day Yoga, Nidra & Sound Bath

Join Mallory for this 90-minute Earth Day class celebrating Mother Earth. We will start out with a yin yoga practice allowing the body to release and allowing us to settle into our yoga nidra meditation. Then we will enjoy the sounds of the therapeutic crystal bowls. Sound therapy is based on the idea that every part of your body creates a vibration that resonates in a certain way. Sound healing works by sending sound waves throughout the body, helping restore balance at a cellular level. The benefits include deep relaxation, better sleep, increased brain wave frequency, and decreased stress and anxiety. Feel free to bring blankets, pillows, essential oils, or anything else to make your practice more comfortable. All levels are welcome!

Sunshine School of Yoga 200 Teacher Training Program will focus on the science of yoga and the art of teaching yoga. We will move deeper to understand anatomy, the benefits of movement, Yoga history, and an exploration of the eight limbs of yoga.
