Hard work really pays off. We are so proud to celebrate our newest 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certified graduates. They started their journey to become yoga teachers last January. They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Little by little, you make progress. Before you know it, you can look back at all you have accomplished. I am so proud of each and every one of them. No matter how challenging their past year has been, they did the work and can now call themselves Yoga Teachers!
In yoga, we have a principle called Tapas, not the tasty little treats. Tapas is a NiYama from the eight limbs of yoga. It is Sanskrit for dedication and self-discipline. It can also mean heat. These graduates embodied tapas and can sit back satisfied at a job well done this holiday season.
Sunshine Yoga Shack is not just a yoga studio; we also house Sunshine School of Yoga. Our School is an RYS or Registered School of Yoga with Yoga Alliance, the governing body of yoga in the United States.
We have been training yoga teachers since 2017, and in 2023 we will be expanding our offerings. Due to the changing times, we now offer virtual training. Virtual training can be taken from your phone, laptop, or tablet and even cast to your smart TV. We also offer a hybrid option for both in-studio and virtual courses. Also, you can take 100% in-studio training and receive a one-year membership for in-person classes.
Sunshine School of Yoga offers an inclusive and safe environment for anyone who wishes to learn more about yoga. Our training programs are designed to cover all aspects of yoga, yoga history, yoga science, energy movement, meditation, mindfulness, the art of teaching yoga to every population, and the business of yoga.
Our 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training will be starting in August. This is a big deal to the studio, and we are so excited to be able to expand our 200-hour teacher’s knowledge. Find out more about Sunshine School of Yoga here.
