What are you becoming? We all have high hopes of becoming our best selves, living our best lives, and achieving our dreams. As we navigate through life, we accumulate influences that shape our perceptions, beliefs, and behaviors. Sometimes, these influences hinder us from becoming our best selves, leading us to unauthentic lives. In order to be our best, we must un-become what no longer feels true.

Un-become What We Are Not

Before we can become our best selves, un-become, or shed the layers of conditioning we have developed. Often, these are limiting beliefs or unhealthy habits that hold us back. Yoga can help us to observe these influences without judgment and to release them with compassion. By cultivating a non-judgmental and compassionate mindset, we can transform our negative patterns and habits into positive ones.

Becoming Authentic

Becoming our best selves requires authenticity, which means being true to ourselves and living in alignment with our values and purpose. Yoga helps us connect with our inner truth by providing a safe space to explore our thoughts and emotions. Through yoga, we learn to listen to our intuition and let go of societal expectations or external influences that no longer serve us. We begin to feel more comfortable in our own skin, and by embracing our unique qualities and imperfections, we become more authentic.

Becoming Real

Being vulnerable and honest with ourselves and others is a key component of becoming our best selves. Yoga teaches us the importance of being present and engaged in the present moment and not allowing external distractions to hinder us from creating meaningful connections. As we practice, we learn to let go of our ego, open up our hearts, and create meaningful relationships with ourselves and others.

To become your best self, you must cultivate self-love and acceptance and express gratitude for who you are. Gratitude for your breath, your body, and your mind. Yoga inspires a deeper sense of compassion and self-love by creating a safe, judgment-free zone to explore your mind and body. By nurturing that self-love, you can become more resilient and connected to the present moment and feel more confident to make meaningful and intentional decisions toward becoming your best self. Being your true self and living a life to be proud of.

Music Alley

The Aerial Crew will be performing at Music Alley in Historic Downtown Mansfield. Saturday, April 29th, at 6:30pm on Oak Street, behind our new studio location. There will be several stages and lots of vendors and food trucks. This Music and Arts Festival is FREE and is sure to be a fun time for all ages. This year our performers will be Emma Campbell, Nathan Emmons, Bree Jimenez, Katelyn Barr, Landry Applegate, Pat Neely, Mallory Green, Te’ Russ, and Lynn Rozak.

Prenatal Yoga

Join Carrie for a 5-week prenatal yoga series. Each class will be 75 minutes with 35 minutes of slow flow and strengthening yoga followed by yin and yoga nidra. This class will be centered around changing the pregnant body and increasing stability while also relaxing the mind for optimal pregnancy and childbirth. The benefits of prenatal yoga include decreased stress, increased happy hormones, better sleep, increased lung capacity, and increased stability. Carrie is a 200hr RYT, Reiki Master, Prenatal Yoga & Doula Certified.

Sound and Flow with Jessica

Join Jessica for a slow, relaxing Sunday afternoon yoga flow followed by a 30-minute sound bath.  This is a two-hour-long event that will allow for time, in the end, to unwind further, take your time, and have some tea before having to conquer the week ahead. Aerial Yoga Teacher Training

Join Lynn for this 25 Hour Teacher Training to certify you to teach Aerial Yoga. This is a stand-alone certification for aerial yoga and is open to anyone willing to learn. You must have a passion for Aerial Yoga. We will learn yoga basics and fundamentals and apply them to an aerial practice. 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training

Are you interested in advancing your skill set as a yoga teacher? A 300-hour yoga teacher training is an advanced program for aspiring yoga teachers who have already completed a 200-hour training course and strive to know more. Sunshine School of Yoga’s 300-Hour Training Program is designed to advance the basic level of knowledge presented at most 200-hour yoga teacher training programs. We will tap into what you love about teaching yoga and enhance your skills and all areas.

Sunshine School of Yoga is a Register School with Yoga Alliance and is Accredited with 200 Hour and 300 Hour Certifications Requirements. You will be able to advance your designation with YA upon completion of this training program.

We have broken out our 300-Hour Training into three different 100-Hour Certifications.

The Body of Yoga, The Mind of Yoga, and The Spirit of Yoga

Each module can be taken in person or online exclusively, or a hybrid of both. These modules are designed to be taken together in one 300-hour training course or for continuing education; on their own.

WHAT IS REIKI? Reiki is the art of conducting life force energy for healing and raising vibrations in the body. Reiki helps us shed old layers of conditioning and releases trapped energy in the body to help us connect to ourselves at a deeper level. A Reiki treatment helps you move trapped energy to heal the energetic body. Reiki Level One Attunement will help you open your body and heal yourself using your own energy. Reiki Level Two Attunement will open your energy to heal others with Reiki energy. Master-level Reiki Attunements are offered by private session only.
