Aerial Under the Sun at Music Alley

Every week, I get to show up with an incredible group of people who are willing to climb, spin, swing, laugh, trust, fall, try again, and share their love for aerial yoga with the world. Saturday night at Music Alley in Historic Downtown Mansfield was one of those moments that reminds me exactly why I love this so much. Under the lights, 13 amazing women took to the silks and performed their hearts out, each bringing her own personality and energy. There’s something beautiful about watching someone discover they are capable of more than they thought possible. Join us!

The Moon Side of Your Practice

moon practice

There’s a moment in almost every Yin class when the room gets quiet, and something inside you shifts. You stop trying so hard—not because you gave up, but because your body realizes it doesn’t have to hold everything together. This is the moon side of your practice, where you create space instead of effort. As you settle into poses, you may feel discomfort at first, but if you breathe and let the moment unfold, something begins to soften. It’s not just about stretching; it’s about allowing your body to process and release, creating a profound sense of space and peace.

Who Put the AHHH in Savasana?

Do you want to hear a secret? When I first started going to yoga classes, I used to sneak out before Savasana. I didn’t understand what was about to happen, and it made me feel things I wasn’t quite ready to feel. But somewhere along the way, something shifted. I began to settle into my Savasana, and there it was—the “ahhh.” Not dramatic, just a quiet unraveling. This moment at the end of class isn’t just a cool-down; it’s where your consciousness drifts, where your body integrates, and where the practice truly becomes yours.

Pickles and Sunshine

Pcikles and Sunshine

Pickles are having a moment—but Mansfield has known their magic all along. The 15th Mansfield Pickle Parade & Palooza brings the city together for a fun run, a lively parade, live bands, and a downtown celebration that draws more than 50,000 people each year.

Meditation in Motion

Movement in Motion

Meditation in Motion What is yoga, really? If you ask ten people, you’ll probably hear ten different answers. A pose. A stretch. A breathing technique. Maybe even a workout. Those things certainly exist inside yoga… but none of them are actually yoga. Yoga isn’t a single posture or a perfect breath pattern. It isn’t something […]

Yoga in the Sunshine

This weekend, Mansfield welcomed Geyer Commons, a vibrant gathering place filled with small business vendors, food trucks, and live music. Right in the heart of this lively market, yoga mats began to appear, drawing over 50 yogis of all ages to move together on the grass. As strangers balanced beside one another, laughter filled the air, and a sense of community blossomed. Join us every Saturday morning at 9:15 AM for a free, welcoming yoga class led by Madison, where everyone is invited to breathe, move, and leave feeling better than when they arrived. Discover the sunshine of yoga!

What’s Your Perspective?

perspective

Perspective is a powerful thing. Two people can experience the same moment and walk away with completely different stories. Our perspective is shaped by our experiences, and sometimes it can feel heavy, clouded by stress or exhaustion. But the good news is that perspective is not fixed; it can shift. Through movement and breath, we can reset our nervous system and elevate our energy. What once felt overwhelming can soften, and obstacles may transform into teachers. Join us to explore how practicing together can help you see life a little differently. Move your body, breathe deeply, and discover a new perspective!

The Space Where Love Lives

The Space Where Love Lives

Valentine’s week arrives wrapped in roses, chocolate, and the language of love, but yoga invites us to explore the deeper quality of love within our own hearts. The heart chakra, Anahata, serves as a bridge between earth and sky, where love transforms from a fleeting feeling into presence and truth. As we navigate grief and open ourselves to vulnerability, we discover that love can flow outward into our families and communities. Join us this week as we practice letting our hearts open again—one breath at a time. Embrace the journey of self-love and connection. ❤️

Outgrowing What Used to Fit (On the Mat and in Life)

By February, something subtle happens. The urgency of January quiets down, and in that quieter space, a more honest question tends to surface—not about goals or discipline, but about alignment. What are you still doing because it once worked… not because it fits who you are now? Just like that pair of jeans you loved but no longer wear, old patterns can feel familiar yet restrictive. This month at Sunshine, the invitation isn’t to reinvent yourself but to listen more honestly to your body. Come practice and discover how letting go can lead to real change.

The Space Between What Was and What Will Be

the space between

We are in the space between. It’s a familiar feeling—one we practice often, whether we realize it or not. Right now, the world itself seems to be hovering in that same in-between space, preparing to reset. Most of us will stand here for a breath or two, deciding what to carry forward and what to leave behind. As 2025 comes to a close, there’s no rush to reinvent yourself. Instead, honor this space between what was and what will be. Let your practice support your intentions, one breath at a time. Cheers to the space between!
